What a fun reading month! Overall, my motivation has increased and I’ve been feeling great. So I think that translated very well into my reading life. My favorites by far were, no surprise because they’re some of my favorite authors, Bag of Bones by Stephen King and Fire & Blood by George R. R. Martin.
Also, I want to point out that I’ve been reading Fire & Blood since January of this year. Longer works definitely require long-term commitment – but the completion feels amazing! I’m working on a longer post that shows how I plan out reading longer books and the like.
On a more important note, I’ve noticed a number of other people discussing that they’re feeling unmotivated and some are depressed. I am not a trained psychologist, I can’t provide coping skills or any kind of treatment plan for people online or any of the like. But if any of you reading need to just get it out, my email is open.
