let’s go to war

I’m going to war with myself.

The main things Goggins is inspiring me to do is work harder on exercising and blogging. Even if I don’t work out or work on a review every day, I still make sure to move my body and I still make sure to read.

Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins has been my most annotated I’ve ever read and probably the most inspiring. I think most of the pages have my writing and/or underlined words because everything Goggins says is so powerful to me.

I’m going to continue going to war with myself. I feel like I’ve been lacking the motivation to post and to work on book stuff because I’ve been working so much. But a lack of motivation isn’t going to get me anywhere in not thinking about what I’m reading. I still have to push my mind, as well as my body, to continue on this journey.

These are just the foundations of my goals. I need to keep pushing myself and use that time to be harder. If I’m going to blog, I’m going to blog! I’m going to work on those reviews – put on a podcast to listen to instead of the tv since the visual distracts. Instead of walking aimlessly around and being anxious before bed, I’ll do push-ups! Jog in place if I don’t want to go outside!

I would only hope my inspiration and drive from this book would drive you (whoever you are, as my readers) to keep pushing yourself past your limits. I’m going to be doing Goggins’ challenges, so stay tuned for more (if you’re interested).
