White Trash Warlock by David R Slayton

Adam Binder has the Sight, which allows him to interact with other spirits and travel to other spirit realms. The Sight runs through the Binder family, but only certain family members have Sight and those who do become estranged.

But when Adam’s sister-in-law spirals downwards and his brother sees something otherworldly, he decides it’s time to reach out to his brother who he can’t stand.

Off to Denver it is for Adam to get into his biggest adventure…

I found my new favorite urban fantasy read of the year! (So far…I mean there are still a few months left in the year.)

One praise quote that discussed Tolkien and LGBTQ+ rep was a little daunting when starting, because I’m somewhat (/extremely) scared to start Lord of the Rings.

And when I found out that there’s a second one AND a third? I can’t wait to read Trailer Park Trickster (2) and Deadbeat Druid (3)

I truly appreciate finding this book and David R. Slayton’s imagination. I am so happy that I was inspired to read this right away in an act of defiance against Instagram for taking down my comment about this book. It’s so upsetting that social media can just decide to silence people – deleting comments about books seems like the social media equivalent to burning the books. And I don’t care if I’m being dramatic, but I was taught to fight for myself. I think there’s something to say when the Instagram and Facebook communities are priding themselves in being LGBTQ+, etc., but feel it’s justified to remove comments regarding this book for whatever reason(s) they deem necessary.

I will continue fighting for this beautiful book and will never stop posting about it.

Read on and fight on for what you believe in.
