Late birthday book haul 📚💖🎉
Thank you to my generous, amazing siblings for getting me the books I desperately wanted (like a child) for my birthday.
I don’t love doing gifts anymore as an adult, so when I try to tell my friends and family that I don’t want something and they insist on getting me a gift, I figure I might as well ask for the books that I want and save my money for bills.
Also, I love how I had to wait to get service to post. Thinking with just my brain, books, and nature around me is an amazing form of meditation and resetting. Back to vacation and having my phone on airplane mode.
