๐Under the Dome by Stephen King Review ๐
On a regular fall day like any other, the town of Chester’s Mill, Maine is cut off from the rest of the world. An unknown force field causes people to stay in the town, people who left town are stuck out of town, and planes crash into what becomes known as the Dome.

“For every night, twice the bright.”
Under the Dome, Stephen King
While as entrancing as always, SK delivered a great story that (I felt) didn’t have too many scary elements. I’m not sure if it was supposed to be scary. It was more like the realities of it could be scary- until I got to page 800 or so and I was like oh there’s an extraterrestrial element ok. But the extraterrestrial involvement was kind of lacking and not much happened with the “leatherheads” themselves, other than Julia stopping them, so I was pretty disappointed with that element.
Overall, it’s still a really good story. SK never fails to disappoint me with his storytelling skills.
