📖Series that got you into reading📖

I’m so appreciative to my bookstagram friends for tagging me in challenge posts – it’s one of those things that get blogs out there and to new people since the algorithm doesn’t help with that much anymore.

I’ve been so busy and barely able to work on reviews or even have musings to post, so this definitely gives me a good post. It seems that reading so fast is great for my entertainment, but writing reviews for them doesn’t help if I put them off until I have to do 4 or 5 at once. I just got caught up and now I have 4 more to work on.

When I first started reading as a kid, I didn’t really like it. I tried Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and had to DNF. But the second time I tried it (maybe when I was around 10 y/o), I fell in love. I have reread that series so many times, and I might actually do a reread of it soon🤗🥰

Reading fell off for me during college, although I did get some good fiction books in when I was on break. But during grad school, the series that got me back into reading was A Song of Ice and Fire ❤💙. George RR Martin ignited a reading habit in me again that I hope I’ll never let go of again.
