Talking As Fast As I Can by Lauren Graham – Quick Review

Ignore the shit on her face on the cover. I’m not complaining I got to borrow it for free from my library ✌🏼 love my library

Lauren Graham shares essays on her life – growing up, becoming an actress, dating as a celebrity, and some little tidbits on the shows and movies she’s starred in.

With two chapters dedicated to Gilmore Girls, I got the info I came for and then some. From my experience with Gilmore Girls and the reviews on the back of the hardcover, I thought I would be cracking up at how funny this was. Graham was funny, I just didn’t lol like I thought I would be. This was more so like a heartwarming intro to A Year in the Life while also partially learning about Graham’s life outside of Gilmore Girls.

Thinking about it, I don’t believe I’ve fully watched A Year in the Life because I thought it would ruin the whole show for me. Now I’m definitely going to watch all 4 mini-movies with the knowledge of Graham’s perspective.

I also hadn’t known she’d written a novel, so that’s definitely going on my to be read list. I’m very interested to see what kind of writer she is. I loved that she kept trying different hobbies or careers.

Overall, definitely fun to read as a GG fan.

Read on.
