☆Rereading White Trash Warlock☆

I just finished rereading White Trash Warlock, one of my favorite reads of last year. It’s a funny coincidence that I decided to reread it now because I’ve recently received an email about renewing this blog. And this blog was started by instagram removing a comment of mine with this book’s title.

I also really really want to read the next two in the Adam Binder trilogy, so I think this could be a fun little reminder of all the details aside from the major plot items that I remember. I was so excited after finishing WTW yesterday that I asked my library to order the next book in the series, Trailer Park Trickster.

I feel like the quality of my writing has been shit lately (although, I’m not sure if it’s ever been very “good” to begin with). I haven’t wanted to write as much, or maybe I haven’t wanted to really review what I’ve read so far this month. I think it was until I got to the fantasy reads that I’ve read so far this month, I didn’t necessarily love the books I had read so far.

What I’ve read so far this month and feel indifferent or aggravated towards:

  • Becoming Ray Bradbury by Jonathan R. Eller
  • The Yellow Wallpaper and Other Stories by Charlotte Perkins Gilman
  • Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey

What I’ve read so far this month and enjoyed more:

  • The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien
  • Inked Persuasion by Carrie Ann Ryan
  • Blood & Ash by Deborah Wilde

So I plan to work on reviews for Fellowship and Blood & Ash; maybe “discussing” two books that I loved from the past couple weeks will get my review game back up to par (you know, the shitty par that it is. Also, fuck it, nobody’s paying me for these so I can do and say whatever I want for my reviews and posts.)

Read on.
