march wrap-up

What I read for the month of March and what I’m reading going into April…

This month I worked on being more intentional with how I spent my time and pushing my body more while exercising. I also listened to so many podcast episodes while working out and thought a lot about what Joe Rogan and Andy Frisella discussed in their latest episodes.

“It’s too inconvenient to care about.”

I’ve been meaning to get to Siddharth Kara’s journalistic book on cobalt mining. I feel that it’s such an important and pertinent book to read because even though enslaved children are mining cobalt in the DRC (Democratic Republic of the Congo), Western countries are prospering from these children’s work and lives.

My favorites from this month:

  • Before Your Memory Fades by Toshikazu Kawaguchi
  • The Two lives of Sara by Catherine Adel West
  • The Happiest Man on Earth by Eddie Jaku
  • The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon

I also read:

  • Hyperfocus by Chris Bailey
  • Net Worth by Amelia Wilde
  • Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh
  • I Dreamed I Was a Ballerina by Anna Pavlova
  • Bringing Up Bookmonsters by Amber Ankowski, PhD, and Andy Ankowski
  • James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl
  • Sleeping Murder by Agatha Christie

I’m currently reading and enjoying

  • Zen Wrapped in Karma Dipped in Chocolate by Brad Warner
  • The Oath by Frank Peretti

Read on and keep learning.
