I see soooo many posts of “Monday Blues” on bookstagram, basically of a blue stack of books since people are sad that it’s Monday.
Which brings up a point that I’ve made to change in my life. In the past few years, I’ve set myself up to have a better outlook on life, become stronger mentally and physically, and do what feels right for me. Some of what feels right for me has been speaking and posting about my goals and motivation. I’ve noticed that this not only motivates myself, but it has motivated others as well. Which is amazing! That’s the effect I’d want.
The day of the week that sets my mood to hold myself to higher standards. If I consistently tell myself that Monday is a great day and I’m going to have an even better week, I have a greater outlook than previously. That sets the mood for a more positive outlook on the rest of the month, and the rest of the year.
And after being excited for what this Monday has the potential to be, I inherently set myself up to have a better life.
So read on, and fuck the Monday blues.
