Squirrel Meets Chipmunk by David Sedaris
In these short stories, Sedaris anthropomorphizes wild and domestic animals and, in typical David Sedaris fashion, doesn’t hold back with wit and honesty.
This book was funny and dark, showing that humans and other animals can all be disgusting.

I wasn’t going to post about this book other than in my monthly wrap-up, but when I saw some of the negative reviews I knew I had to put in my input (seeing as how everyone does on social media).
It also reminded me of the instagram Nature Is Metal, which is super cool, [I believe] very humbling, and a good reminder that death precedes life. That’s my main source for when people are vegans for ethical reasons with the argument that animals are peaceful.
Read on.
