This will be my last library haul for a few months. It was kind of a bittersweet quick visit, that ended in catastrophic internal pandemonium and utter lack of control as always.

I brought most of my last haul back (as I hoard those that I have to take notes on) to the library. I went to the adult section and I told my fiance “oh, I’ll only get one or two because we’re leaving for vacation in a month. And I’ve been so busy lately I’ve barely been reading.”
Lo and behold, I checked out this stack. 🤦🏻♀️ I feel like I made a grave mistake…but I also don’t regret a minute of it.
Here I go to do all of this before going away:
🩷take notes on books that are already read and tabbed
🩶post those books
🩷track my reading
🩶get my list together of what I want to look for at my bookstore
🩷read these books
Books that I need to review that I felt so strongly about
🤍Milk by Anne Mendelson
🩵Forbidden Lessons in a Kabul Guesthouse by Suraya Sadeed
🤍Atonement by Ian McEwan
🩵Outlive by Peter Attia
And I’m currently reading
💜Sacred Cow by Diana Rodgers and Robb Wolf
💜My New American Life by Francine Prose

Well, I must be off to read and take my copious notes.
Read on.
