book haul continued

Some fresh thoughts on The Sex Lives of Cannibals and my new Stephen King books…

The Sex Lives of Cannibals has been on my TBR (to be read list) for at least 2 years, yet I’ve had no desire to ruin the illusion that it’ll be a great book. Because, in my mind, surely it’s a great book. I’m in love with the unknown of what’s on those pages. Is it disgusting? Crazy? Is it a metaphor?

Who will know when I’ll know the answers to these questions, because once I get a book that I’ve been searching for, there’s no telling when it’ll be read. I could pick it up next, in a month, or in a couple of years. Time will only tell.

Since I realized I’m so behind on my SK TBR, to distract myself during my nighttime reading I’ve started The Regulators. Which really surprised me that it was a summertime book when I opened it the other night. I had just grabbed it off the shelf wanting to read an old SK.

Read on.
