What’s your favorite month of the year? Why?
If I look at my favorite month of the year by the number of books that I’ve read, within the last two years my favorite months would be
- March of 2023
- December of 2022
Both months with 12 books read and finished (some started a month or so before, when it came to long tomes).
If I look at my favorite month of the year by the number of favorite books that I’ve read, last year my favorite month would’ve been September. With those two favorites (out of my 2022 total favorites of 9) being
- And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
- God Help the Child by Toni Morrison
And if I look at my favorite reading month so far this year, with just looking at the most amount of books I loved, my 2023 favorite reading month would be between several months. Picking out those I loved, I had the following months with 2 books.
- February, with
- Hell Bent by Leigh Bardugo
- Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins
- March, with
- The Two Lives of Sara by Catherine Adel West
- The Happiest Man on Earth by Eddie Jaku
- May, with
- Forbidden Lessons in a Kabul Guesthouse by Suraya Sadeed
- The Color Purple by Alice Walker
- August, with
- Meat Eater by Steve Rinella
- The Road of Lost Innocence by Somaly Mam
- September, with
- Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter
- 13 Hours by Mitchell Zuckoff
- October, with
- Just the Nicest Couple by Mary Kubica
- The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris
