Happy Saturday and yay for shitty pictures

I am back to reading War and Peace with my big love muffin (and oh, is she big; and sometimes I curse her out for dragging me. The mug greatly describes her at times. But she’s doing a wonderful job of protecting her livestock babies.) I had taken a small hiatus for a couple of days and attempted Say You’re  One of Them by Uwem Akpan because it seemed it would be easier and I’d need less focus with everything that was going on.

Needless to say I abandoned it  – we just weren’t vibing. I bought it years ago and didn’t realize this time that I picked it up that they were short stories. I tried the first story, was somewhat invested and then tried a shorter one after and still wasn’t feeling it. So I think that’ll go to the bookstore for someone else to enjoy.
