fuck the govt, but congrats, you made me stronger

How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?

The covid pandemic, though utterly unnecessary and absolutely insane, forced me to become stronger and better than I ever was.

I’m in great shape physically. I had used the lockdown to hone my exercise discipline. I have been working out pretty consistently since, with the random few days to a week of extreme business (that comes with starting a farm and a future business) without a workout.

Some of my favorites from 2020

I used 2020 as the catalyst of my amazing reading life and bookstore. I read the most amount of books that weren’t regarding psychology for the first time ever – it reignited my love for reading. Without that, I wouldn’t have begun my bookstagram, then this blog, and now this idea for a bookstore (which has been influenced by a number of things).

And finally, I grew regarding interpersonal relationships. With the influence of a friend who gave me this idea, I decided to stnop trying as hard with people who weren’t responding to me. The thought was that we’re both “locked down,” but I’m taking more time out of my day to check in on this friend. So I stopped checking in as much with some friends and started getting more time back for myself and those interpersonal relationships where the other people actually cared about me.

There are, however, other changes that I will not accept and will stand against. Such as everything being online (i.e. why I’m starting my own bookstore), masks, vaccines, mainstream media, most doctors, etc.
