I am currently reading
- Book 4 of War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy

Homesteading funsies below
Though April is a short stack for me, I have one of the most wonderful additions to the homestead – we had a positive return. My rabbit had her first litter of kits. She had so many more than I was expecting, they’ve all survived thus far, and I’m so thrilled. This higher number gives me so many more options for the rabbits. I am now definitely going to keep one of the females to breed with our buck in September when she’s of age.

We also added two more goats and have begun breeding the buck, who’s of age, with our females.

A busy homestead season means less reading. But it also means more food security for potentially tough times ahead.
