tbr stack from a wholesale lot

Only two of these books were on my radar before. And the rest of them? They just looked too interesting to sell before diving into them myself. Even if that means they’ll sit in the house for at least a year before I crack them open.

I found such interesting books at my favorite bookstore in the world. Most of the books on my shelves prior to starting this book blog came from that gorgeous little slice of heaven and I had never even heard of most of the books or [at least half of the] authors before. And the owner actually (then unknowingly) inspired me to start doing somewhat of the same thing.

Buying wholesale book lots with older, sometimes less popular books is so cool. I’ve come across books such as these – with subjects that I love (Frank Sinatra) but with books I never would’ve seen in bookstores. Or books that I wouldn’t have thought of picking up until I was scrubbing them and reading the jacket flaps (for me, Jimmy Buffett). Or seasonal books that have been in the house for me to enjoy this Christmas season since I’m unable to get to the closest library while the most local one is being renovated.
