Mid-Year Check-in 2023 – What have I accomplished?
This post is me being productive while avoiding the things that I should be working on (wedding bells chime in the distance as I have yet to decide on music, ceremony decor, etc.). So let’s take a look at how productive my year’s been so far…
I’m writing more, but I’ve written less reviews in the past couple of months

I’ve read more books at this point of the year compared to last year – 51 this year compared to 43 last year
I’ve also read more pages at this point of the year compared to last year – 16,043 this year compared to 13,337 last year
| 2022 | 2023 | |
| Books | 43 | 51 |
| Pages | 13,337 | 16,043 |

I’ve read and explored 24 genres so far, and surprisingly only read one book by Stephen King. I’ve also read 8 romance books so far this year, while I read a total of 8 romance books within the entire year of 2022.

- I’ve thought of more entrepreneurial ideas
- Some life goals have been accomplished
- I’m working out more consistently – at least 20 minutes 5 or 6 to 7 days a week, depending on the program and how busy I am.
- I’m listening to more podcasts
Most of the books I’ve read are currently unavailable to photograph. So I’ve decided to snap some books that I’ve been thinking of and would like to get to soon.
Read on.
