I love the winter. But this season, it’s been a struggle loving the winter while farming. So Pulau Jingga was a nice little getaway for me for a few odd days.
I thought the couple was pretty adorable, a hilarious setup, but Anna was annoyingly sometimes comically) much too like people nowadays at times. The full head of pink hair while pretending to be a med student? That was a bit much. Definitely a 2020s idea. I was all for the drama, this was a crazy reset that I needed to get out of my head and my own problems.
And I was surprised by the sex scenes?? It’s been a while since I read Love and Other Words (and I was in the throes of grief reading that), but I definitely don’t remember anything open door from these authors.
