Christine by Stephen King – Quick of the Quickest Thoughts
A high schooler’s obsession with his first car goes a little too far…
This had all of the standard SK elements wrapped up in a horror story of an evil car. Creepy undertones without anything jumping out or a huge amount of violence until halfway or two thirds of the way through the book, I can’t believe I was still freaked out by a story about an inanimate object.
Aside from the horror aspects, Christine gave me nostalgic feelings for spending time with my best friends in high school. And when Arnie applied to Penn State? I had so many sentimental feelings for being a PSU freshman.
Make sure to go outside and get some sun today. Touch something from the natural world.
