How do you relax?
It depends on the day and my mood how I’d best relax.
If we’re discussing the very end of the day, I need to read. Normally it’s my current fictional book but sometimes I’ll read my nonfiction read at night if I’m rapt.
Though I’m looking forward to my current nonfiction read, it is too intense for me to read it in order to relax.
If we’re discussing any other time of the day or there’s a situation that I need to take a breath from to relax, I’m still working on that sometimes. For the past year, I have recently been teaching myself to channel any anxiety from the day into my workout. The knowledge that I’ll have a workout later on can also help me relax more throughout my day.
