What podcasts are you listening to?

The form of entertainment that I consume the most after books has surely become podcasts in the last couple of years.

I first began listening to Joe Rogan when he intiallu got covid and that story was huge. And I’ve just become obsessed since then.

This week I’ve listened to

• Night Cheese Bookclub
• Joe Rogan
• Shawn Ryan
• Citizen with Dan Holloway

There are so many more that I’ve listened to recently as well. This is just a sample of the podcasts I have saved on Spotify.

I tried listening to one show about books and book releases (I thought it’d be helpful to know for bookselling), but I just couldn’t get over the socialist bullshit that the hosts discussed. I’m on the lookout to find a new one with the same purpose but none of the commie shit.

And I have some very old but specific episodes saved to listen to soon. With a sneak peek of the latest Whitney Cummings JRE episode at the bottom of the following picture. I was (not surprisingly) listening to this episode when I saw today’s daily prompt.

I’m curious about the Carnivore Aurelius episode because I follow him on IG and I’ve recently purchased some of his beef liver crisps.

I figured I should open my mind back up about McConaughey if Lex Friedman interviewed him. I don’t entirely trust him though – I don’t trust many who push for red flag laws.

And I’m interested in the Demi Lovato JRE episode since I wouldn’t have thought that she’d ever go on Joe Rogan. That and I’m curious to hear about her changing her pronouns back and what (if) she says about being a child star.
