This past November gave me some reading all over the genre spectrum. I read 8 books, 2 of which were nonfiction, and including the number of pages in my current reads, my month totaled at 2,337 pages. Which is just 120 pages shy of my reading in November 2022.
My average book length was 262 pages, maybe I’ll see if I can get this average up for December to finish out the year strong. And run into January like the badass reader that I am.

I indulged some in November
- Finding You by Jo Watson
- The Audrey Hepburn Estate by Brenda Janowitz
- The Navy SEAL’s Christmas Bride by Cora Seton
I learned A TON from Caught in the Revolution by Helen Rappaport.
I had mixed feelings about
- Pygmalion and Other Plays by George Bernard Shaw
- The 4 Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss
- Shy by Max Porter
I revisited a Junie B. Jones book from childhood. With the used (and hopefully, eventually new) books that I’ll be selling in my very near future bookstore, I want to sell children’s books that are actually age appropriate. So I’ll be adding in more children’s books randomly to double check the books I’m getting to sell are properly teaching children.
And last but not least, I am currently reading two extremely important and emotionally heavy books.
- Lost in Trans Nation by Dr. Mariam Grossman
- Guadalupe by Dustin Carter

Kick ass in your reading life (but also in reality as well) this December. Make the most of the remainder of 2023.
