Oh, how exciting it was to finish Meet Me At the Lake a few days ago. Not a favorite, but it was a refreshing pre-summer read.
Now I’m figuratively tapping my feet in excitement as I write this to start Braiding Sweetgrass.
Last night, I opened Poems of Parenting by Loryn Brantz – a gift from a friend and my favorite mom to go to with all my mama woes. Honestly, all moms (especially first time moms) need a veteran mom who’s around the same age to go to. I couldn’t imagine my postpartum experience without all of these mom friends who I’ve gone to with my weird questions.
After posting this everywhere I can, I’ll be closing my phone and enjoying Braiding Sweetgrass and cuddling with my little love.
